B. English Communication Skills for the Workplace
Morning

English for Trade Unionists
A two-week course which is meant
to develop your English Language Communication
Skills with special reference to Trade Unions. This has two components:
Morning sessions designed for everyone who needs English in the
workplace. Afternoon sessions specially developed for Trade Unionists.This
option complements the morning sessions and is not available on its
own.
Designed to fulfil the needs identified
in the initial needs analysis. A hands-on, work-shop
approach. Case-study method utilised throughout the course. Utilises the
latest in English-for-Business materials. Afternoon Sessions Includes
a specially-developed pack of activities
suitable for Trade Union activities at different
levels. Can be combined with the De Bono Lateral Thinking Course
. Includes Cultural and Social events.
C. Evening ILCCI English for Business
Longer
term evening courses meant for participants aiming to achieve an internationally
recognised ILCCI Certificate which will enhance their written English
communication skills (mainly for locally-based participants) Available
at three
different levels Utilises adult learning strategies Case-study method
Work-shop
approach includes letter writing, textual analysis, report writing, memoranda,
leaflets, posters etc.
